DoodleStitch (doodlestitch.io) is an independent service based in Italy that turns images into sewing patterns. For anything about your data or these terms, write to support@doodlestitch.io.
You sign in with Google (via Firebase Authentication). We store your e-mail address and user ID to keep track of your credits and projects. We never see your Google password, and we don't send newsletters or marketing e-mails.
The image you upload stays privately attached to your project in your account: it's needed to create new versions (another size or project type). Deleting a project from "My projects" deletes everything about it, image included. Projects you haven't purchased are deleted automatically after 30 days; purchased patterns stay in your account until you delete them. We never publish, share or use your images for anything else — including AI training.
To generate the realistic preview and the internal seam guides, your image is processed by Google's Gemini API under Google's API terms. It is sent for processing only, not for training. The pattern geometry itself (sizes, seam allowances, pieces) is computed by our own software, not by AI.
Credit packs are sold through Gumroad, which acts as the merchant of record: Gumroad processes your card, handles EU VAT and issues the receipt. We never see or store your card details. We keep a record of each sale (an anonymous sale ID and the credited amount) to add credits to the right account and prevent double-crediting.
No advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no cookie banner needed. Your browser stores only what's technically necessary: your language choice and your Google sign-in session.
You can see and delete your projects any time from "My projects". To delete your whole account and every trace of your data, or to request a copy of it, write to support@doodlestitch.io from your account e-mail: we'll do it within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority (in Italy, the Garante).
DoodleStitch is in beta: we work hard to keep it accurate and available, but it's provided "as is". Welcome credits are granted once, at sign-up; credits (free or purchased) never expire. If a generation fails, its credits are refunded automatically. Credits are personal, tied to your account and not transferable.
Every pattern you download is yours forever: print it as many times as you like, sew it, gift the results, sell your handmade items at markets or online. The only thing you may not do is resell, redistribute or republish the PDF file itself. You are responsible for the images you upload: use your own drawings and photos, or images you have the right to use.
Credit packs are digital content delivered immediately: by purchasing, you agree to immediate delivery and waive the standard 14-day EU withdrawal once credits are added. That said, if something went genuinely wrong — double charge, credits never arrived, technical failure — write to us and we'll make it right, including a refund through Gumroad when appropriate.
Our instructions include the essentials for safe toys: for children under 3, use embroidered eyes and no buttons or small detachable parts. The finished item is handmade by you, so its safety depends on your materials and execution — the patterns are a guide, not a certified toy.
